H Family {Cypress Family Photographer}

I am way thrilled to post these pictures. Gorgeous parents + adorable smiley baby = really fun photo shoot. Jeremy and I go waaaay back to high school and Jeanae is just about the cutest, most fun thing ever (I live to get an email from Jeanae. Seriously honey, you are hilarious!).

I knew this was going to be a different kind of session when they picked me up (yes, they picked ME up), and the baby was in the car wearing nothing but a diaper and Jeanae handed me a bag of clothes and a stack of shirts and had me pick out what everyone should wear. Then they didn't even complain when I took FOREVER to edit their pictuers. You guys are the best!

Jeremy, thanks for taking your shoes off for me. Those pictures made my year!

Daniel {Katy Senior Photography}

Daniel was referred to me recently to get some last minute senior pics done. He was easy to photograph and a super sweet guy, however was totally against smiling for the pictures! I managed to talk him into smiling for a few...totally against his will. I figured it would make his mom happy!

Little Miss E {Cypress Child Photography}

Has a three year-old ever had this much energy before? This curly-headed beauty was perpetual motion. Her mom is going to have her hands full with a baby sister coming along in a few months!

Mid-session we were walking to a new spot at the park. Miss E was very concerned about a frog that had met its demise in the parking lot and wanted to take me back to look at it. As we went over to see the very squished, very dead frog, she looked up at me and said, "this is why we have to hold our mommy's hands in the road". Miss E takes safety very seriously!

A Day to be Born - Ellison Ann {Houston Birth Photographer}

This past week, I experienced one of the greatest honors so far in my life as a photographer, and a great joy in my own personal life as well. Being present for and photographing the birth of my dear friends' baby girl will be an emotional experience I will carry with me forever. Thanks Missy and Spencer for giving me the privilege!
